TDC makes programmes for all the BBC networks, including the 50 part Radio 2 series Sounds of the 20th Century, and has won four New York Awards for its Radio 4 documentaries.
The Rubber Chicken, led by Dave Cribb and Tom Price, was formed in 2014 and supplies several returning comedy formats to BBC radio and various other platforms, including a recent substantial series commission from Audible.
All of the participants have agreed to pitch and deliver programmes for the BBC and other broadcasters under the Folder&Co banner. The partnership means the teams will have access to Folder Media’s cross-platform team and resources and will be able to draw on each partner’s knowledge and skills to deliver large-scale and creative ideas.
A number of other indies are currently talking to the Folder&Co team about adding their own specialisms to the group.
